I created a brief for myself to redesign the sign for my local pub at home in Crewe. I think lions are beautiful animals and so should be drawn as they are so I did a realistic version for the design. I added a contemporary typeface for the name of the pub. I feel it gives it an edgier feel compared to the traditional English pub sign design.
